Are you Excited about Obama? or What are your Concerns?

This is a reply to a comment from Seriously Concerned here. Hey Seriously concerned – I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised w/Obama in the coming years. I started replying to your replay and it just got so wordy- that I bumped us up to a whole new post. Just some quick thoughts as to your concerns.

1- Nothing has been more damaging to our image in the world as our invasion and occupation of Iraq has been. Obama will bring out troops home safely and w/dignity. The military gave more money to Barack than to any other candidate! Military families for Obama.

2. We might be attacked again here on our soil- I think its less likely w/Obama but it might happen. And it certainly won’t have anything to do w/whether Obama wears a flag pin or how he stood when listening to the national anthem.

3. Off shore drilling is not the answer to our problems. At best its a temporary, dangerous, difficult, drawn out and not so promising venture. There are better ways to use that money– we need to focus on moving away from oil. We have very little of it, most of it is in the most volatile part of the world, its a terrible pollutant and there’s not an endless supply.

“HE’S GETTING TOO MUCH CORRUPT MONEY FROM THE MIDDLE EAST”- Oops (pot get the phone and call kettle) -That is Bush you’re thinking of- not Obama! The Bush Family and their cronies are all making a killing on all this war and conflict.

4. Bush’s foreign policy was to just ignore those he didn’t like- you know, like a 3rd grader would, to stick your fingers in your ears, turn your back and chant I’mtheDecider, I’mtheDecider while stomping feet!! That doesn’t work- look at North Korea- oops they built nukes. Obama will use diplomacy and as he has stated– “My interest in meeting with Iran is practical; it is not based on my assessment of who they are or my judgment about their values, but rather it is a practical assessment in terms of how we can best achieve our ultimate goal, which is an Iran that is not threatening its neighbors, is not threatening Israel, does not possess nuclear weapons, is not funding organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas.”

Well, to all of the obama lovers—let’s see where we will be in 4 years, shall we?!

Within the next 4 years……

1-That big eared bastarsd will bring our troops home early, in disgrace, and we will be the joke of the World!
Because of that:

2-We will have another terrorist attack–ON OUR SOIL! and your precious obama–you know, the one who won’t salute our flag while the flag is being raised while the hymn plays?
HE WILL BLAME PRESIDENT BUSH FOR THAT,TOO!

3-Meanwhile, our gas prices will reach $7.00 A GALLON–Because BIG EARS WOULDN’T DRILL OFFSHORE! HE’S GETTING TOO MUCH CORRUPT MONEY FROM THE MIDDLE EAST TO TURN HIS BACK ON THEM!!!
Meanwhile, all of the obama lovers will be bitching about the HIGH GAS PRICES–and naturally will be BLAMING IT ON PRESIDENT BUSH–OR MAYBE BARNEY THE DOG!

3-chavez, castro and ahmadinejad will SING OBAMAS PRAISES–because they will all be ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER–ALL WHILE SMILING AT OBAMA AND STABBING HIM BEHIND HIS BACK WHILE TALKING TO HIM AT THOSE “UNCONDITIONAL MEETINGS” THAT OBAMA HAS (by then) MADE FAMOUS!
