Is Zanny (xanax) the nanny the culprit in the Caylee Anthony case?

I’ve been obsessed with this Caylee Anthony disappearance and wanted to get my thoughts down about what I think happened. There’s an excellent forum I just discovered called WebSleuths!

They’ve got a speculative timeline going and I’m going to try to condense mine and see how/if it fits into theirs. I’m praying for Caylee Anthony and I hope none of the following pure speculation is true!

I think unfortunately Casey is responsible for Caylee’s death. If LE thought there was any truth to the kidnapper story we would hear more about it, see a sketch and be given BOLO (be on the lookout) info. I can’t think of another reason LE wouldn’t enlist the public’s help.

Casey has spun a pretty elaborate web of lies bc she’s had plenty of time to do so and cover her tracks- a whole month. I think as much needs to be done as possible to track Casey’s movements from the afternoon of the 16th on. 6/16 Gpa sees them leave with backpacks and a story that puts them out of touch until the next day -per her parting words to her dad.

I think something happened to Caylee while in Casey’s “care” sometime between 6/16-last seen and 6/18-Casey borrows shovel. Maybe she drugged the child and the child threw up violently thus the flurry of phone calls- to parents (6 each to Cindy and George) and 2 to persons unknown. She was freaking out and trying to get help but when no one answered she figured OK, thanks for nothing- now she’s not breathing.

This is her way of rationalizing and putting the blame on others. (Forensics may have been looking for vomit in the home and on the clothes taken from the house recently.) Casey thinks – oops accident- and doesn’t hold herself responsible so she just has to get rid of problem. She’s accustomed to this behavior being rewarded in the past- she’s always been able to get away with it, so she begins to spin a coverup.

She starts concocting an elaborate story -at the same time avoiding parents and saying I’m keeping her away because I can! Thus mom’s note on 7/3 myspace about missing her baby because of jealousy –talks about betrayal. She keeps the GPs at bay by being aggravated and needing her space and independence. I think there was probably some tension between Casey and Cindy during the Father’s Day wkd and Casey planned to keep Caylee away and not use the Grandparents as baby sitters at all – as a way to punish them. This is her excuse for not being able to produce the child- no mom, I won’t bring her by- if you’re going to treat me like that, then you won’t see her- she will be with the nanny.

I think Zanny the nanny might be Casey’s nickname for Xanax. People who do drugs (like smoke pot and don’t believe the govt should bother them) may give a name to it in order to safely talk about it- example- have you talked to ___? yes, I heard ___ will be here soon, ___ said you owe him $80 etc.

I think there may be some truth to the Grandparents statements that they knew of the nanny- Casey may have used this excuse frequently- no, you can’t see her- she’s mine and I left her with Zanny the nanny. Maybe when she left Caylee w/the GPs they would make her give them exact times as to when she’d be home- be accountable- and so when she wanted to stay out all night she would occasionally drug the child and leave her someplace telling her parents- not to worry- she’s w/Xanny the nanny.

She probably used this child to manipulate her parents constantly– as the child was her very powerful pawn! Her little pawn was growing up though, talking more, able to tattle and probably preferring Cindy!!

Maybe she created this identity for Zenaida and filled it out w/details (like actually finding a local w/that name and getting cell phone number (not sure if that needs to check out- fuzzy on details of cops talking to wrong Zenaida)? The more she mentioned this name the more questions she would have to answer.

Maybe she looked at potential apartments as a routine -somehow left a window open and later returned at night to put drugged out Caylee inside. The empty apartment would be “child proof” and the child would sleep until mom returned to sneak her back out.

When something happened to Caylee 6/16, part of her 1st attempt at cover story might have been to go see empty apartment (something she’s used to?), this time as Zenaida on 6/17- fills out the card w/messy handwriting. Maybe she was going to put Caylee’s body in the empty apartment- that was a Tuesday- she may have been hoping it wouldn’t be discovered till the wkd when people typically look at apartments. Potentially it could remain there undiscovered for a while and when it was- they would have Zenaida as having accessed that apt- Casey could say – damn that nanny!

But somehow the leaving her in the apt plan didn’t work out, or she changed her mind. I’d be curious to know from the apt people – what story this Zenaida gave them? I think Caylee may have been wrapped up in blankets, then garbage bags in the trunk since the tragedy on 6/16. I would like someone to ask the Grandparents -were any blankets missing? I think little Caylee must have been pretty securely packaged because there weren’t many stains in the trunk.

On 6/18 she returns home, backs into the driveway and borrows the shovel. I think she thought about burying her under the playhouse and may have tried- thus the dog hits- even though still wrapped up tightly. This may have been taking longer than she thought and she may have been foiled in this plan by not being sure what time her parents were coming home- thus the other flurry of calls on this day. She’s freaking out – decides to abort this plan and Caylee goes back in the trunk. I think at some point she decides to put her in a remote body of water and hopefully police will find her soon.

I think the gas cans were going to be part of another plan that got aborted. She puts Caylee (in water) somewhere and hopes she will never be found- then plans to put car somewhere with her purse in it, torch it and then disappear. Then, when people find the car -both Casey and Caylee are missing and presumed dead- how tragic- the young mother and her beautiful child!

Casey had been stealing money and planning to disappear but then, she keeps spending the money, she’s partying, she doesn’t know how to disappear and she really likes this new guy Tony– so she changes the plan again. I think she was still formulating the story when her friend Amy yanked the rug out, ratted her out for stealing the money and told her mother where she was. She was still thinking she could run when she told her mom – I will take you to her in the morning! Mom said NO- I’ve given you a month, I’m not waiting another day and calls 911. Casey takes a deep breath and tries to stick to this convoluted story she’s been spinning in her head for a month.

The fact that she actually took those cops to Universal Studios and walked around before giving up that lie is very telling!  She has obviously been able to get away with that in the past, so she is sticking to her story- full stop. I think the parents being relieved at the charges that were filed recently is ludicrous.  Cindy said- that’s a win -because if they had something they would have charged her with much more. That’s simply not true!!   Police would like to wait as long as possible to throw the big guns down –before the clock starts ticking for speedy trial = people clam up, lawyer up, and you only get one chance etc. – so its in their best interest to do just enough to keep her there and scare her.

I do think (pray) Casey may be cracking though. Maybe she told her lawyers to keep her parents away from recent visits giving the excuse- we can’t talk bc we need to protect Caylee. In actuality it may be that, lying to her family is getting more difficult for Casey. It sounds like they probably nailed her to the wall and demanded to know if Caylee was OK- an absolute promise! Casey was still in full-on denial mode and she reassured them swearing up and down that Caylee was OK- to calm her parents down and get them back on her side. She’s thinking she can continue this facade and convince people that she needs to be free to negotiate and handle this dangerous situation bc she knows what type of people they’re dealing with. This worked on her parents but not w/the cops who are not quite so self-delusional. You see Cindy and George trying desperately to continue to believe –but I did notice them prefacing -she’s still alive comments with… Casey is telling us…its almost like they are protecting themselves –almost like saying…allegedly.  Very telling- so sad.

Let’s hope I’m wrong and that Caylee will be home soon.
