Casey won’t get the Death Penalty.

The death penalty is off the table. I don’t know when Jose filed the motion but its being reported and answered today–Jose was asking for justification for the potential death penalty charge. Is this an indication that he wants more time? It was reported that he asked for this info bc he needs to have time to be able to prepare for it. Evidently his office put out some type of packet last week saying that she would never get the death penalty. I will be looking for that because if Jose filed it then I’m sure it will be interesting– he’s so talented. Oh- the news just reported that its a victory for her other attorney– the one that is qualified to defend someone facing the death penalty. Hmm– I’m not sure who this is a victory for. I think this means Jose may thank that guy by promptly kicking him off the team– I think he doesn’t like sharing the spotlight and that other guy seems to avoid it– he must have muzzled Jose- its been blissful. But I have to say I’ve missed it a bit. I have been out of town– at the folks and they don’t have cable. Grrr! So I’m now even further behind– no only have I been neglecting Nancy- I’ve barely delved into the new stuff.

But today that changed– today it was Casey all day, all day Casey. I watched those videos of the jail visits– most of them today– whoah! It is so unbelievably obvious that she is lying. She’s really creepy, pathetic and its difficult to watch. Everyone handles her w/kid gloves and she seems to enjoy the intrigue and the vagueness she’s granted by the pseudo protection she finds/demands and her family willingly offers of… I can’t say anything because I’m protecting Caylee and the family. Ugh. I’ll summarize them here as I get through them bc they are really painful to watch! First up is the Lee Anthony interview of July 25.

Today the state just released a statement that it is not in the best interest of the people of the State of Florida to pursue the death penalty as a potential punishment. Here’s a link. Cindy and Lee were also both added as potential witnesses for the prosecution along w/the photographer who took the party pictures of Casey “on the lookout” for zanny the nanny and dancing it up w/a girl at the local night club.
